Procurement Employee
What will you be doing?
As a Procurement Employee, you ensure that plant material, packaging materials, and production supplies are available at the right time. In doing so, you contribute directly to reliable production and smooth planning. You work closely with production, logistics, and planning, and keep track of purchase orders, deliveries, inventory, and lead times. You'll start under the guidance of an experienced Procurement Employee, getting to know our suppliers, materials, systems, and processes. Step by step, you'll take on more responsibility and become independently responsible for the procurement of packaging materials and production supplies. For plant material, you support the procurement process and focus mainly on ensuring timely availability. Using Agriware, Power BI, and Excel, you analyze procurement and inventory data, identify deviations, and take action. You work respectfully with colleagues and suppliers, and with a sense of ownership, pride, and continuous improvement, you contribute to more efficient processes, better inventory management, and high delivery reliability.
What we offer
At HilverdaFlorist, you'll work for an international family business where innovation and sustainability are a visible part of everyday practice. You'll have the space to learn the procurement profession, take initiative, and work increasingly independently. Experienced colleagues share their knowledge and support you in your development.
You'll receive a salary of €3,288 to €4,671 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on knowledge and experience, with terms of employment in line with the Collective Labour Agreement for Greenhouse Horticulture (CAO Glastuinbouw). In addition, you'll receive 25.5 days of annual leave on a full-time basis, participation in the BPL pension fund, a travel allowance, and opportunities for courses and training. You'll get personal coaching and a clear growth path to becoming an independent Procurement Specialist. Ownership, pride, respect, and continuous improvement shape how we work together and achieve results.
What we're looking for
You have a Bachelor's level of education and thinking, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or commerce, and an affinity with procurement and planning processes. You enjoy working with numbers, have strong analytical skills, and have experience with Excel. Knowledge of Agriware and/or Power BI is a plus. You communicate clearly, work well with colleagues, and keep an overview when planning, inventory, or availability changes. You are punctual, structured, and proactive, and take ownership of what you take on. You are open to feedback and continuously look for improvements in inventory management, availability, delivery reliability, and the procurement process. A good command of Dutch is required; English is a plus.
